HM Government's Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rt Hon. Jeremy Hunt MP, gives his Autumn Statement to the House of Commons, setting out the UK's latest economic forecasts and the Government's fiscal policies for the coming months.
With inflation cut to 4.6% since November 2022, alongside the important work the Government has done to rebuild public finances and create fiscal headroom, the Chancellor was able to announce the biggest business tax cut in modern history, and the largest ever tax cut for workers.
