After 6 years of reconstruction, repair, and renewal, the Elizabeth Tower – housing the world-famous Big Ben bell – has now been reopened to the public for tours.
In addition to commercial tours, which will run from Wednesday 14th June 2023, Members of Parliament have the opportunity to book a number of tours for their constituents.
If you would like to request a ticket for an Elizabeth Tower tour, please fill out your details in the form below.
Please note that visitors must be aged 11 and over and that children aged 11-17 require adult supervision. Visitors must be comfortable climbing 334 steps unaided and able to sustain moderate physical exertion for up to 90 minutes. You will experience high noise levels from the clock mechanism and bells - ear defenders will be provided. The total tour duration is 90 minutes and toilet facilities are available at the beginning and end of the tour only. Due to the constraints of the Tower, accessible tours including step-free access are not currently available.
Please also be aware that these tickets are very popular, and due to the limited allocation given to each MP, constituents who register their interest will be placed in a ballot, which will picked from randomly each month.
For those who are unsuccessful in the ballot, as mentioned above Parliament will be running commercial tours from June 2023. Tickets are £25 per adult, and £10 per child aged 11 and over.
