Finchley and Golders Green MP, Mike Freer, spoke in Parliament to raise the plight of Jewish constituents who have suffered Anti-Semitism in recent months. Mike’s speech comes amid an anti-Semitic backlash that followed the recent conflict in Israel and Gaza. The debate was held by John Mann MP of the All Party Group on Anti-Semitism, of which Mike is Vice-President.
Mike comments “The summer months saw an unprecedented increase in occurences of anti-Semitism. I was keen to put on record some of the repugnant incidents that have occurred, as well as document the concern of thousands of people locally. I will continue to challenge anti-Semitism and as politicians, we must ensure that Britain remains a safe place to live and work for everyone”.
