Yesterday, Mike attended the Campaign Against Antisemitism solidarity march in central London, which had an “impressive turnout” and the attendance of several Government ministers and Conservative Members of Parliament.
The march had a powerful message, one of tolerance and decency, in which those present came together and said “no” to anti-Jewish racism.
This was a march marked by dignity and respect, and a vital opportunity to show solidarity with the British Jewish community, who have been subject to unacceptable abuse and intimidation over the past weeks.
Antisemitism is a disgusting, pervasive hate crime, and it is of paramount importance that it is stamped out wherever it may appear through education, vigilance, awareness, and the uncompromising application of the law against offenders.
