This has been the first week that Parliament has been sitting following the Summer Recess. It has also been the first week that I have been in action as PPS to Skills Minister, Nick Boles. This has involved assisting on a wide range of topics in the Department for Business and the Department for Education. I also listened to debates in the House of Commons, including on the regulation of the sale of puppies and kittens.
I had a meeting mid-week with Barnet Council regarding street cleansing having received correspondence in this regard. I was keen to be updated on progress the Council are making in improving street cleanliness.

On Friday I was out in Finchley, meeting constituents at my office before heading over to the North London Jamat Khana in East Finchley to meet members of the Ismail community
Over the weekend, myself and a team of volunteers hit the streets of Brent Cross to speak to local residents about their concerns.
