This week has been especially busy with many more late nights in Parliament. I began the week by meeting with the Royal Free Charity to discuss their work. I was then interviewed by a university student for work he is conducting for his dissertation.
I also had a very important meeting with the Home Secretary, Theresa May, to discuss Anti-Semitism. For further information about the meeting, please see the separate article on my website.
On Monday evening, I hosted one of the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust’s meetings as a trustee of the charity. The day concluded with another ‘Meet Your Street’ event in Westminster. Residents of Finchley attended in large numbers for another successful event.
Later this week, I met a group of constituents who wanted to lobby me on issues relating to Israel before meeting a campaigner to discuss taxes on the family home. I am leading the campaign against Labour and Lib Dem ‘Mansion Taxes’ which would hit families hard in Finchley and Golders Green.
I also had the pleasure of meeting with congregants from Golders Green Parish Church and Rev. Morton. We discussed a wide range of topics in a question and answer session before a tour of Parliament.
Today I made the short journey to Finchley Mosque to meet with community leaders.
